John studied agriculture and business management in the UK, before working in the civil engineering sector as Land Negotiator and estimator on major motorway earthworks contracts in the UK. He progressed into Oil & Gas exploration in senior engineering management roles with major oil and gas companies, including BP, Texaco and BHP Petroleum. He has worked and had business ventures all over the world.
With a long history of success in well engineering and project management, he later established ADA International in 2004, an international company based in Melbourne, with offices in New Zealand, Brazil, Peru and Colombia. The company was a world first in the sector to develop and implement a unique project management consortia business model, in Australia and New Zealand with total contract value in excess of $2 billion. This included the development of two offshore gas fields, installing and commissioning the platforms and drilling and completing the wells to first gas delivery.
Other experience includes logistics, OH&S, Bio security and emergency response, initiating a National Industry safety forum in Australia. John, as an entrepreneur, invested in, and raised capital for an independent UK listed oil E&P company, as Chairman and major shareholder he tripled oil production and share price in the first two years. He independently acquired oil and gas exploration assets for development in South America, and as a major shareholder of an Australian company oil exploration assets in West Africa and gas and gold tenements in Australia.
His interest in corporate dairy farming resulted in acquiring an 800-cow dairy farm in Victoria, Australia from 2014 -2021 and it was during this period he was introduced to regenerative farming which turned his attention to green energy.
His extensive international and diversified experience has required skills in leadership, negotiations with private enterprise and National Oil companies, commercial contracts, risk mitigation and management, marketing, strategic planning, corporate governance, and global geopolitical awareness. His current focus is the renewable Recyclables sector and related innovative technologies most specifically in Waste to Energy. He is Managing Director of Ember Eco Solutions and Pyrolysise Ltd.in the UK.

Osanan has had a distinguished international professional career, including working in Brazil, Holland, UK, USA and Australia. This has provided him with a thorough understanding of international markets and in-depth knowledge of diverse economic and cultural environments.
His experience includes serving as Managing Director, International Division for Banco do Brazil, one of Brazil’s largest banking groups. He was also regional Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in London. His responsibilities encompassed commercial banking, retail, investment banking, and international securities.
After settling in Australia, he was CFO for Australian Drilling associates and was involved in major activities such as expansion into Latin America, capital raising and due diligence for IPO preparations. He joined ADA International in Australia, at the invitation of John Bell. He subsequently established his own consultancy business, assisting energy and mining companies to expand into Latin America, with particular focus on Brazil.
Osanan is Honorary Vice-Consul of Brazil in Victoria, holds a number of non-executive directorships of Australian companies and is fluent in English and Portuguese

Chris Farmer

Chris is a Chartered Surveyor, qualifying in 1997 specialising in minerals, waste and environmental management. He has worked in the mineral extraction and waste management sectors for 25 years, with management positions held at Tarmac, Biffa, Shanks and Enovert. Since 2011, Chris has run his own waste brokerage and consultancy business, achieving sales over £40M from a start-up.
Over the years, Chris has been involved in a wide range of disciplines including quarry and landfill site development, the construction of built waste management infrastructure, site acquisition, business integration and competitive bidding under the Private Finance Initiative. Chris has also remediated a number of sites blighted by waste following business failure and worked with insolvency practitioners to recover waste assets.
He has also managed the shipment of tens of thousands of tonnes of residual waste into the German market for energy recovery and led the removal of large volumes of hazardous material during the decommissioning of Rio Tinto Zincs aluminium production facility at Holyhead, Anglesey.

Nick has been involved in the environmental sector since 2007 and has so far been involved with over 50 environmental projects from Municipal Solid Waste Composting in India, to 1500 MW Hydroelectric projects in Ecuador and the pre-construction development of over 260MW of solar sites in Mexico. Overall, the projects Nick has been involved in have created on-going emission reductions over 9 Million tons of CO2e per annum.
Nick is now leading Pyrolysise as Head of Investor Relations.

Dr Jacqui Taylor is #15 Most Influential Woman in UK Technology and one of 21 Most Inspiring Women in Cyber she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science in recognition of her 25 years of international web science research to deliver an equity agenda for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). She founded the Empathy Economy and pivoted her company FlyingBinary to meet the challenges of Web 3.0, the Metaverse IIoT with spectacular results. As one of the Top 100 European Angel Funders she has mentored many hundreds of 7,8,9 figure Founders including three unicorns, one on their way to decacorn. She is an Expert Advisor to the UK, EU, G20 and the United Nations on the future of technology and its impact on the sustainability agenda. As a High-level climate leader recognised by the UN for the delivery Net Zero 2030 plan she works with Fortune 500 clients to accelerate and implement their climate commitments. Her own personal commitment to climate change is the delivery of climate champion resources to her investment network, and over 10 million Empathy Economy businesses in 173 countries.

Alex has been involved in the Financial sector since 1993 and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the company. She started her career at Deloitte and, more recently, Alex spent 10 years with Morgan Stanley’s Research Team in Canary Wharf as an Editorial and Production Assistant. Alex deals with all things administrative at Pyrolysise, ensuring the smooth operation of the company with her excellent IT and organisational skills, robust knowledge of office management and efficient handling of client enquiries. Her attention to detail and ‘can do’ approach adds a reassuring dynamic that both supports the company and meets client needs.

Helen Passfield

Helen Passfield is an Owner and a member of the Ownet Advisory Board, having been with the team since it was set up by Jeremy in 2016. Helen has worked on a number of client engagements during that time in a broad range of roles and sectors including business analyst, PMO and Project Manager; and has been key in developing Ownet’s partnership with Software AG to support mutual clients in the implementation of their process software and infrastructure. She is keen to assist clients throughout their transformation journey through improved processes and technology, and supporting people to carry these initiatives forward to create the new business as usual environment. Helen is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, with an BA from University of Greenwich.

Jane is an experienced, strategic, PR and marketing professional with more than 20 years under her belt. She spent a decade working as a PR specialist, grounding her skills with the media, crisis, internal and corporate communications, print and design, publications, events and senior client management. Laterally, she has held several key senior roles including PR director, regional director and managing director of a satellite site at a fully integrated marketing agency. She has worked across a variety of sectors including energy, renewables, financial, manufacturing and professional services. At Pyrolysise, Jane is leading external communications across the portfolio.

Paul is an experienced and successful senior executive working with companies to deliver results and manage transformation or business as usual. He combines strong strategic and analytic skills with the ability to drive delivery and change. His experience comes from being an entrepreneur. He started his own PR and marketing company which he built from zero to a highly successful million-pound fee business for 10 years before exiting in a management buyout. He then went on to an interim career working with a wide range of large and small public and private sector companies providing transformation and business services ‘in house. In recent years he has worked with many early-stage companies to help them with their strategic planning, market narratives and securing equity investment. Paul is passionate about projects that have a positive impact on the world in the face of enormous ‘climate change’ challenges and the need to find new, sustainable ways of supporting clean energy and a circular economy. With two grown up children and two small grand children he is acutely aware of the need to pass on a positive legacy to future generations.

Amanda has recently joined Pyrolysise as part of the Investor Relations team. She is delighted to be working with such a great team on these exciting, innovative projects. Prior to this she worked at CIBC for 17 years with the Investment Banking team and the Equities desk. She was responsible for their international roadshows and client events. Client relationships has been a main part of her previous roles and it is something which she enjoys.

Colm Macqueen

Colm has extensive experience of green and environmental inventions through his work as a multilingual translation professional specialising in intellectual property (IP) and marketing since 2015. He is a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and provides language services both as a freelancer and agency owner. His background spans various countries and industries including recycling, finance, tourism, education, telecommunications and software. Colm is a keen supporter of initiatives and innovation for sustainable development. He is delighted to contribute to the Pyrolysise team by strengthening its fundraising efforts.
